Ortaöğretim Öğrencilerinin Hayatın Anlamına Yönelik Tutumları: Anadolu İmam Hatip Lisesi ve Diğer Lise Öğrencileri Arasında Bir Karşılaştırma (Erzurum İli Örneği)

Abstract

Bu araştırmanın temel amacı Anadolu İmam Hatip Liseleri ve diğer lise türlerinde öğrenim gören öğrencilerin hayatın anlamına yönelik tutum düzeylerini karşılaştırmalı bir şekilde incelemektir. Araştırmanın örneklemi 2022-2023 eğitim öğretim yılında Erzurum ilinde Anadolu İmam Hatip Liseleri ve diğer lise türlerinin 12. sınıf düzeyinde öğrenim gören ve tesadüfi örneklem yöntemiyle seçilen 975 öğrencidir. Araştırma nicel araştırma metotlarından biri olan tarama modeline göre tasarlanmıştır. Çalışmanın verileri kişisel bilgi formu ve Hayatın Anlam ve Amacı Ölçeği’yle toplanmıştır. Toplanan verilerin analizinde SPSS-26 programı kullanılmıştır. Araştırma bulgularına göre öğrencilerin hayatın anlamına yönelik tutum düzeylerinin yüksek olduğu, ölçeğin Hayatın Anlam ve Amacı alt boyutundan aldıkları puan ortalamasının yüksek, Hayatın Anlamsızlığı ve Amaç Yoksunluğu alt boyutundan aldıkları puan ortalamasının orta düzeyde olduğu görülmüştür. Elde edilen puanlar incelendiğinde cinsiyete, yaş düzeyleri ve okul türüne göre öğrencilerin hayatın anlamına yönelik tutum düzeyleri arasında manidar bir farklılığın olmadığı görülmüştür (p>0.05). Öğrencilerin sosyoekonomik durumlarına, okul döneminde kaldıkları yere, akademik başarı düzeylerine, maneviyata yönelme düzeylerine göre bakıldığında ise anlamlı bir farklılığın olduğu görülmüştür (p

The main purpose of this research is to comparatively examine the attitude levels of students studying in Anatolian Imam Hatip High Schools and other types of high schools towards the meaning of life. The sample of the study is 975 students selected by random sampling method, studying at the 12th grade of Anatolian Imam Hatip High Schools and other types of high schools in Erzurum in the 2022-2023 academic year. The research was designed according to the survey model, which is one of the quantitative research methods. The data of the study were collected with the personal information form and the Meaning and Purpose of Life Scale. SPSS-26 program was used in the analysis of the collected data. According to the research findings, it was seen that the students' level of attitude towards the meaning of life, and the average taken from the Meaning and Purpose of Life sub-dimension of the scale were high. In addition, it was determined that the average taken from the Meaninglessness of Life and Lack of Purpose sub-dimension was moderate. These averages were very close to each other between Anatolian Imam Hatip High Schools and other high school students. When the obtained scores were examined, it was seen that there was no significant difference between the students' attitudes towards the meaning of life according to gender, age levels and school type (p>0.05). When the socioeconomic status of the students, their place of residence during the school period, their academic achievement levels and their level of orientation towards spirituality were examined, it was observed that there was a significant difference (p
