The purpose of this study is to examine the levels of digital fatigue among students who play online games. In this context, after determining the level of digital fatigue, the study aims to reveal the reasons for the variables that create a significant difference in the level of digital fatigue based on the opinions of teachers and parents. To this end, an explanatory sequential mixed-methods research design was used in the study. In the quantitative part of the study, the Digital Fatigue Scale developed by Tutar and Mutlu (2024) was used. Statistical package programs were used to evaluate the quantitative data. The sample of the study consisted of 503 high school and middle school students studying in Siirt province. In the qualitative part of the study, the opinions of 25 teachers and 26 parents were sought as a working group to analyze the quantitative results in depth. At this stage, the data collected using a semi-structured interview form was analyzed using content analysis methods. According to the results of the study, students who play online games have high levels of digital fatigue. There are significant differences in students' levels of digital fatigue based on variables such as gender, age, grade level, daily online gaming time, daily time spent on the internet, time spent on the internet outside of gaming, favorite aspect of gaming, purpose of internet use, and type of technological device owned. There is no significant difference in the psychological fatigue sub-dimension in terms of gender, age, class level, time spent on the internet, and the most enjoyable aspect of gaming, while there is a significant difference in the sub-dimensions of digital addiction, physical-mental fatigue, and psychosomatic problems. There is no significant difference in the psychological fatigue sub-dimension in terms of gender, age, class level, time spent on the internet, and the most enjoyable aspect of gaming, while there are significant differences in the sub-dimensions of digital addiction, physical-mental fatigue, and psychosomatic problems. However, in the variables of purpose of internet use and time spent on the internet outside of gaming, there are no significant differences in the subdimensions of digital addiction and psychosomatic problems, while there are significant differences in the subdimensions of psychological fatigue and physical and mental fatigue. However, in terms of the purpose of internet use and time spent on the internet outside of gaming, there are no significant differences in the sub-dimensions of digital addiction and psychosomatic problems, while there are significant differences in the sub-dimensions of psychological fatigue and physical and mental fatigue. While there are no significant differences in the most popular aspects of gaming in terms of digital addiction, psychological fatigue, and psychosomatic problems, there are significant differences in terms of physical and mental fatigue. Various recommendations have been made based on the results.
