Din Kültürü ve Ahlak Bilgisi Öğretmenlerinin Öğretmen Teftişine İlişkin Görüşleri

Abstract

Bu araştırmanın amacı ortaokul müdürlerinin öğretmen teftişlerindeki denetim görevlerini yerine getirme düzeylerinin yeterliliğine ilişkin din kültürü ve ahlak bilgisi öğretmenlerinin görüşlerini tespit etmektir. Bu araştırmada nitel araştırma desenlerinden durum çalışması kullanılmıştır. Görüşme formları ile toplanan veriler betimsel analiz yöntemine göre analiz edilmiştir. Araştırma sonucunda elde edilen bulgular, temalar ve alt temalar şeklinde organize edilerek sunulmuştur. Amaçlı örnekleme yöntemlerinden benzeşik örneklem tekniği ile araştırmanın çalışma grubu belirlenmiştir. Araştırmanın çalışma grubu, 2023-2024 eğitim-öğretim yılında Mersin merkez ilçelerindeki ortaokullarda çalışan 32 din kültürü ve ahlak bilgisi (DKAB) öğretmeninden oluşmaktadır. Araştırma sonuçlarına göre katılımcıların büyük çoğunluğu (%66’sı) okul müdürlerinin öğretmen teftişine ilişkin denetim görevlerini yerine getirme düzeyinin yetersiz olduğunu düşünmektedir. Katılımcıların okul müdürlerinin öğretmen teftişine ilişkin denetim görevlerini yerine getirme düzeylerini yetersiz bulma nedenleri okul müdürlerinden kaynaklanan nedenler ve okul müdürleri haricindeki nedenler olarak ikiye ayrıldığı tespit edilmiştir. Katılımcıların okul müdürleri öğretmen teftişine ilişkin denetim görevlerini yerine getirirken DKAB öğretmenlerinin yaşadıkları sorunları teftiş öncesi yaşanan sorunlar, teftiş sırasında yaşanan sorunlar ve teftiş sonrasında yaşanan sorunlar olarak nitelendirdiği bulunmuştur. Katılımcıların okul müdürlerinin öğretmen teftişine ilişkin denetim görevlerini yüksek düzeyde yerine getirmesini engelleyen etkenleri okul müdürlerinden kaynaklanan etkenler, öğretmenlerden kaynaklanan etkenler ve mevzuattan kaynaklanan etkenler olarak nitelendirdiği tespit edilmiştir. Okul müdürlerinin öğretmen teftişine ilişkin denetim görevlerini yüksek düzeyde yerine getirmesine yönelik çözüm önerilerinin okul müdürlerine ilişkin çözüm önerileri, öğretmenlere ilişkin çözüm önerileri ve öğretmen teftişinin yapılış şekline ilişkin çözüm önerileri olmak üzere 3 grupta toplandığı görülmektedir.

The aim of the research is to determine the opinions of religious culture and ethics teachers on the level of competency in which middle school principals perform their duties related to supervising teachers. The case study was used in this study. The data collected from the interview forms were analysed according to the method of descriptive analysis. The findings were organized and presented under themes and sub-themes. The study group consisted of 32 religious culture and ethics (RCE) teachers working the middle schools, which were in the central districts of Mersin in the 2023-2024 academic years. According to the study results; most of the participants (66%) thought that the degree at which middle school principals performed their duties related with the supervision of teachers was inadequate. It was determined that the reason why the participants had such opinions was related to the reasons resulting from school principals and other reasons except the school principals. According to the study results, the participants stated that the problems which the RCE teachers experienced while the school principals performed their duties related to teacher supervision were the problems experienced before the teacher supervision, problems experienced during the teacher supervision and problems experienced after the teacher supervision. Moreover, the participants stated that the factors preventing the school principals from performing their duties related to teacher supervision at higher levels were related to factors resulting from school principals, factors resulting from teachers and factors resulting from regulations. Furthermore, the participants proposed solutions so that the school principals could perform their duties related to teacher supervisions. These solutions were solutions related to school principals, solutions related to teachers and solutions related to how the teacher supervision could be performed.
