Fiction in Sabahattin Ali's Stories With a Child

Abstract

Narrative texts have basic elements such as time, place and characters. The texts are built on these basic elements. Each text has a fictional feature that is related to the language and style of the author. Therefore, the fiction of the texts refers to the identity of the authors and their understanding of art. In other words, it is possible to identify the author of the text based on the fiction in the text.In this study, the fiction technique in Sabahattin Ali's stories is analyzed. The main purpose of the study is to reveal the relationship between the fiction technique in the stories and the author. The study is limited to Sabahattin Ali's stories called “Apartman”, “Arabalar Beş Kuruşa”, “Ayran”and “Cigara”. The common feature of the stories is that the main protagonists are composed of worker children. In the study, the exposition, knot and solution parts of the stories were examined in terms of structure and thematic. According to the results of the study, it has been determined that there is a common narrative technique in the stories of Sabahattin Ali. The author first begins his stories with an emphasis on time and space. In the following part, the dramatic life adventures of the working children are told. There is also a dramatic ending to the stories, all of which are based on working children. It is noteworthy that the sentences that will impress the reader are carefully used in the stories. It is suggested that this study, which is specific to Sabahattin Ali, can also be applied to different authors.

Hikâye edici metinlerin zaman, mekân ve şahıs kadrosu gibi temel unsurları vardır. Metinler bu temel unsurlar üzerine kurgulanır. Her metnin yazarın dil ve üslubuyla ilişkisi olan kurgusal bir özelliği bulunmaktadır. Dolayısıyla metinlerin kurgusu, yazarların kimliğine ve sanat anlayışına göndermede bulunur. Farklı bir ifadeyle metindeki kurgudan hareketle metnin yazarını tespit etmek mümkündür. Bu çalışmada Sabahattin Ali’nin öykülerindeki kurgu tekniği analiz edilmektedir. Çalışmanın temel amacı öykülerdeki kurgu tekniğiyle yazar arasındaki ilişkiyi ortaya çıkarmaktır. Çalışma, Sabahattin Ali’nin “Apartman”, “Arabalar Beş Kuruşa”, “Ayran” ve “Cigara” adlı hikâyeleriyle sınırlandırılmıştır. Öykülerin ortak özelliği ana kahramanların işçi çocuklardan oluşmasıdır. Çalışmada öykülerin serim, düğüm ve çözüm bölümleri yapısal ve tematik açıdan incelenmiştir. Çalışmanın sonucuna göre Sabahattin Ali’nin öykülerinde ortak bir anlatım tekniğinin olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Yazar, öncelikle öykülerine zaman ve mekân vurgusuyla başlamaktadır. Devam eden bölümde işçi çocukların dramatik hayat maceraları anlatılmaktır. Ayrıca tamamı işçi çocuklar üzerine kurgulanan öykülerde dramatik bir son vardır. Öykülerde okuru tesir altında bırakacak cümlelerin özenle kullanıldığı dikkat çekmektedir. Sabahattin Ali özelinde yapılan bu çalışmanın farklı yazarlar üzerinde de uygulanabileceği önerilmektedir.
