Öğe Türü:Öğe, The Adaptation of the Organizational Disidentification Scale into Turkish: A Study on Validity and Reliability(Cukurova Univ, 2025) ;Gencdal, Gulsen ;Memduhoglu, Hasan BasriCogaltay, NazimThe aim of this study is to adapt the Organizational Disidentification Scale, developed by McGuire (2021), into Turkish and examine its psychometric properties. The study group consisted of 319 teachers working in the Yeni & scedil;ehir district of Diyarbak & imath;r. Scale items were translated into Turkish, linguistic equivalence was established with 50 English teachers, and cultural adaptation wasfinalized via expert opinions. To determine construct validity, Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) was conducted using AMOS. Cronbach's Alpha and McDonald's Omega coefficients were calculated for reliability. During analysis, one item was excluded due to low factor loading. Findings demonstrated that the scale's structure, consisting of 11 items and three sub-dimensions (Distinction, Discontent, Disconnection), exhibited acceptable model fit indices. The Cronbach's Alpha coefficient was 88, and McDonald's Omega was 884. Consequently, it was concluded that the Turkish version of the Organizational Disidentification Scale is a valid and reliable instrument for measuring disidentification levels in educational contexts. This study provides a methodological framework for future quantitative research in educational organizations and contributes significantly to the literature.Öğe Türü:Öğe, Biological control potential of some selected endophytic bacteria against the Colorado potato beetle, Leptinotarsa decemlineata (Say, 1824) (Coleoptera: Chrysomelidae), and their effects on potato plant growth(Entomological Soc Turkey, Ege Univ, 2026) ;Ozsari, Pinar ;Ozaktan, HaticeSanver, UtkuThis study evaluated the efficacy of six selected endophytic bacteria both against the Colorado potato beetle, Leptinotarsa decemlineata (Say, 1824) (Coleoptera: Chrysomelidae), and potential impact on potato plant growth. The bacterial isolates, selected based on prior activities, were tested in in vivo pot trials against L. decemlineata larvae. Their influence on plant growth was also measured under both pest-infested and pest-free conditions. The experiments were conducted between 2022 and 2024 under controlled growth chamber conditions at the Plant Protection Department of Ege University's Faculty of Agriculture. Bacterial applications caused corrected larval mortality rates of 21.87-56.25% compared to the untreated control. The most effective isolate, Chryseobacterium gleum (Holmes et al.) Vandamme et al. (Flavobacteriales: Weeksellaceae) (6), caused 56.25% mortality and exhibited significantly high proteolytic activity. These results demonstrate that the selected endophytic bacteria can significantly reduce L. decemlineata populations and enhance plant growth, showcasing their potential as dual-action biocontrol agents in potato cultivation.Öğe Türü:Öğe, Fatty acid content and nutritional composition of seeds of certain Triticale varieties - [2](Innovhub Ssi-Area Ssog, 2025) ;Ozdemir, Selim ;Seydosoglu, Seyithan ;Kokten, KaganCil, AbdullahTriticale cultivars can be grown for fodder as well as grain. Growing demand for food resources has led to an increased interest in triticale development. This cereal is receiving great attention as an alternative source of nutrients and health-protective components in the human diet. In this study, the lipid content and fatty acid composition of 7 triticale varieties were determined. The lipid content of the examined triticale varieties varied between 0.11 and 1.14%. The major unsaturated fatty acids found in the grain lipids of triticale varieties were oleic (17.16-22.74%), linoleic (53.67-57.84%) and linolenic (4.04-5.01%) acids. Levels of palmitoleic, arachidic, erucic, docosahexaenoic and nervonic acids were found to be lower than 1%. The crude ash (CA) and crude protein (CP) ratios in the grains of triticale varieties varied between 0.75-2.24% and 7.45-9.34%, respectively. The acid detergent fiber (ADF), neutral detergent fibre (NDF) and acid detergent lignin (ADL) ratios of the grains of triticale varieties varied between 7.91-9.04%, 25.34-29.45% and 1.06-2.96%, respectively. The dry matter digestibility (DMD) and dry matter intake (DMI) ratios and relative feed value (RFV) values of triticale grains varied between 81.86-82.74%, 4.08-4.74% and 260.74-302.54, respectively. The Presto, Umranhanim and Alperbey varieties have greater ADL and NDF properties; Aysehanim and Mehmetbey varieties had better ADF and CP ratios; the Tatlicak-97 variety recorded higher total digestible nutrients (TDN), DMD, digestible energy (DE) and metabolic energy (ME) values; the Tacettinbey variety had higher ash content, DMI and relative feed value (RFV).Öğe Türü:Öğe, Seed priming and phosphorus fertilization boost nutrient biofortification of lentil plants -[2](Polish Society Magnesium Research, 2025) ;Ceritoglu, Mustafa ;Erman, MuratCig, FatihThis experiment investigated effects of seed priming and phosphorus fertilization on the biofortification of lentil plants grown under low-phosphorus field conditions. Four phosphorus doses and six priming treatments were used in the experiment. According to results, 15 and 30 kg P ha-1 significantly increased the nitrogen concentration in plants while all phosphorus doses stimulated greater magnesium accumulation over control. Higher phosphorus addition restricted potassium acquisition by 9.5% under high-potassium soils. Moreover, 15 kg P ha-1 application of salicylic acid, citric acid, inorganic phosphorus or plant growth-promoting bacteria (PGPB) distinctly promoted the uptake of nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, manganese, iron and zinc. PGPB mostly promoted nitrogen and phosphorus uptake, while citric acid priming highly stimulated the acquisition of Mg, Mn and Fe. All priming treatments were lower than the control for potassium accumulation, in which the lowest value was observed in PGPB-primed plants, because it can solubilize phosphorus compounds in rhizosphere, thereby causing an antagonistic effect on potassium uptake. Seed priming with 4 mM silicon enhanced copper accumulation in tissues up to 9.4%. Priming with 100 mg kg-1 citric acid promoted iron, magnesium and manga- nese accumulation by 13.8%, 3.8% and 4.7% compared with control, respectively. In conclusion, phosphorus addition boosted macro- and micronutrient acquisition, although the 15 kg P ha-1 dose is recommended from an economic perspective. Also, phosphorus application and seed priming treatments exhibited synergistic effects on nutrient acquisition depending on a nutrient element. Finally, seed priming with PGPB, 4 mM salicylic acid and 100 mg kg-1 citric acid exhibited superior performance on nutrient uptake in lentil.Öğe Türü:Öğe, A novel pruning-enhanced hybrid approach for efficient and accurate brain tumor diagnosis -[2](Elsevier Sci Ltd, 2026)Dogan, YahyaBackground: Accurate and efficient brain tumor diagnosis is a persistent challenge in medical imaging due to the complexity and variability of tumor structures. Deep learning has demonstrated strong potential; however, balancing diagnostic performance with computational efficiency remains a significant barrier to real-world deployment, particularly in resource-limited clinical settings. Proposed Method: This study introduces a novel hybrid framework combining a pruning-enhanced EfficientNetV2B3 model with metaheuristic-based feature selection and traditional machine learning classifiers. Multiple state-of-the-art CNN architectures were initially evaluated, and EfficientNetV2B3 was selected as the most effective model. A sparsity-driven threshold-based pruning strategy was then applied, reducing parameters by approximately 78% (from 12.9M to 2.86M) while retaining competitive classification accuracy. Feature vectors extracted from the pruned model were refined using Genetic Algorithm, Particle Swarm Optimization, and Lion Optimization Algorithm. Results: The pruned EfficientNetV2B3 model maintained high performance, achieving 97.70% +/- 0.11 accuracy. Among all evaluated classifiers, Random Forest combined with genetic Algorithm-selected features yielded the best results: 98.64% +/- 0.25 accuracy, 98.67% +/- 0.24 precision, and 98.66% +/- 0.26 F1-score. Additionally, visualization techniques such as t-SNE and Grad-CAM were used to confirm feature separability and enhance model interpretability. Conclusion/Impact: The proposed hybrid framework demonstrates that significant model compression can be achieved without compromising diagnostic accuracy. It offers a computationally efficient and interpretable solution suitable for deployment in real-time and low-resource clinical environments.
