Çok satan çeviri çocuk romanlarının evrensel değerler bağlamında analizi

Bu çalışmanın amacı, çok satan çeviri çocuk romanlarının evrensel değerlere ne düzeyde sahip olduğunu belirlemektir. Çalışmanın evrenini 2023 yılının en çok satan çeviri çocuk romanları oluşturmaktadır. Bu romanlar belirlenirken en çok tercih edilen ve güvenilir olan satış sitelerinin çevrimiçi satış rakamları dikkate alınmıştır. Bu amaçla Türkiye'de en çok tercih edilen çevrimiçi kitap satışının gerçekleştirildiği siteler belirlenmiş ve bu sitelerde yer alan çocuk ve gençlik edebiyatı kategorisinde sıralanan ortak çeviri romanlar tespit edilmiştir. Çalışmada tercih edilen siteler: İdefix, Kitap Yurdu, BKM, D&R ve Kitap Seç'tir. İncelemeye esas alınan kitaplar: "Bunun Adı Findel, Charlie'nin Çikolata Fabrikası, Çizgili Pijamalı Çocuk, İçimdeki Müzik, Kraliçeyi Kurtarmak, Küçük Prens, Momo, Pal Sokağı Çocukları, Şeker Portakalı ve Uçan Sınif tir. Bu tez nitel bir çalışma örneğidir. Doküman incelemesi metodu kullanılmıştır. Tespit edilen evrensel değerler bulgular kısmında tablolar halinde sunulmuştur. Seçilen eserler farklı zaman dilimlerinde iki farklı kişi tarafından tekrar okunmuş, geçerlik ve güvenirlik sağlanmaya çalışılmıştır. Araştırma kapsamında yer alan eserlerde "Barış, özgürlük, adalet, sevgi saygı, güven, cesaret, azimlilik, sorumluluk, yardımseverlik, yaşamdan zevk almak, dürüstlük, dostluk, hoşgörülü olmak, alçakgönüllülük, kibarlık, başarı, iş birliği" gibi evrensel değerlerin tespiti yapılmıştır. The aim of this study is to determine the level of universal values present in bestselling translated children's novels. The population of the study consists of the bestselling translated children's novels of the year 2023. In identifying these novels, the online sales figures from the most preferred and reliable sales websites have been taken into account. For this purpose, popular online book sales sites in Turkey have been identified, and the commonly listed translated novels in the children's and young adult literature category on these sites have been determined. The preferred sites for the study are: İdefix, Kitap Yurdu, BKM, D&R, and Kitap Seç. The books subject to this examination include: The Orange Girl, The Little Prince, Pal Street Kids, The Quest to Save the Queen, This is Called Findel, The Flying Classroom, The Music Inside Me, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, The Boy in the Striped Pajamas, and Momo. This thesis is an example of qualitative research, utilizing the document analysis method. The identified universal values are presented in the findings section in tabular form. The selected works have been read again by two different individuals at different time intervals to ensure validity and reliability. The research identifies universal values such as "peace, freedom, justice, love, respect, trust, courage, perseverance, responsibility, altruism, enjoyment of life, honesty, friendship, tolerance, humility, kindness, success, and cooperation" in the works examined.
