| dc.description.abstract | (Formula presented.) (Formula presented.).Nowadays, the global community is faced with a significant responsibility in dealing with the detection and mitigation of COVID-19. In this particular study, we propose a novel approach to modeling the COVID-19 pandemic using a fractal fractional order SIDARTHE model, which has not been previously explored in the existing literature. We rigorously establish the existence of a stable solution for this model. Our unique fractal and fractional order SIDARTHE model distinguishes between infected individuals based on their diagnosis and the severity of their symptoms. The reproductive number and identifying potential equilibria for sensitivity analyses. To further investigate the considered model, we delve into the existence and uniqueness of its solution through the application of fixed point theory. Furthermore, we employ Ulam-Hyers stability to conduct a thorough stability analysis of the proposed model. In order to establish an iterative algorithm for the proposed FFM system, we present a numerical scheme based on Lagrange interpolation. Our findings underscore the necessity of combining stringent social-distancing measures with widespread testing and contact tracing in order to bring an end to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. © 2025 Informa UK Limited, trading as Taylor & Francis Group. | |
