| dc.description.abstract | This study investigates the flow of hybrid nanofluid over a vertically stretching surface, with a focus on the effects of convection, chemical reactions, and variable viscosity. Additionally, it considers the influence of heat sources and porous media on the nanofluid. The model incorporates two types of nanofluids - alumina oxide and copper - suspended in base fluids to create a hybrid nanofluid. Key parameters such as the Schmidt number, Prandtl number, Soret number, magnetic parameter, and Dufour number are included in the analysis. To streamline the expressions, dimensionless variables are applied to convert the equations into a system of ordinary differential equations (ODEs). The homotopy analysis method (HAM) is utilized to obtain a convergent series solution. Graphical results illustrate the effects of the magnetic parameter, convection parameter, Prandtl number, chemical reaction parameter, and Schmidt number. The findings indicate that an increase in the magnetic parameter results in a decrease in velocity, while an increase in the Prandtl number leads to a reduction in temperature. | |
